The Nikon Z6 has been out for almost a year, and grading the N-Log footage is still a bit of a challenge. Recently, Nikon announced their own LUT, but the results are quite awful. I’ve been determined to find an easier way to grade the footage with great results. In this video, I demonstrate how I begin grading the 10 bit 4:2:2 N-Log footage direct from the Atomos Ninja V.

Tools used: Nikon Z6, Atomos Ninja V, SpyderCHECKR 24, Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens, DaVinci Resolve 16, and Rode Wireless Go.
